A microfiber cloth works as a panacea during cleaning. Such a cloth absorbs all the dirt perfectly and does not let anything go. In addition, they are environmentally friendly and money-saving. However, just because they absorb so much ground, it is essential to wash them regularly. We explain how best to wash your microfiber cloth.

Always check the label of the microfiber cloth before washing it. There you will find the instructions for your specific fabric. To wash your microfiber cloth, we recommend that you put it in the washing machine. Machine washing makes the fibres hygienically clean again and usable for the next time. You can wash most wipes at a temperature of 40 to 60 degrees. The bacteria that hide in the dirt die from 60 degrees. Microfiber cloths can last for years and can be machine-washed hundreds of times.
It is best to use the same detergent that you usually use. A dash of white vinegar is also possible, which has a soothing effect on the wipes. To finish, you can dry the microfiber cloths in the dryer at a low to medium temperature. This kills any bacteria that may have survived. If you want to dry the fabric in the drying cabinet, do so at a maximum of 90 degrees, preferably even lower.
What NOT to do:
Washing your microfiber cloth with fabric softener: this will damage the cloth’s fibres and reduce its effectiveness.
Using bleach: This will damage the cloth fibres and reduce their effectiveness.
Submerge in water with soapy water: the dirt will not come off, and the cloth will not come clean.
Washing your microfiber cloth with the other laundry: you risk the whole load becoming static if you wash another laundry in the same machine.
Leaving dirty or wet clothes in place for too long: make sure to wash the clothes regularly.
